PAR FOR THE COURSE!

At Church this Wednesday, someone suggested the movement to unite the churches is nothing less that a miracle. It is not surprising that we are facing a few challenges. As the Lord unites His church we are all standing in awe and are on “high alert.” As expected, the summer ministry opens with an interesting challenge…a very noisy neighbor. Without going into detail, the neighbor behind Los Olivos is using an industrial generator to pump his well. The challenge is…the well is directly behind the base! Consequently, the noise is perfectly timed with active ministry on the site. We have approached the neighbor with a willingness to put a muffler on the generator (at our cost), but it was meet with a hostile response. For reference…I slept with ear plugs last night. Please pray for our neighbor and his heart to be softened. Most of the push-back has been from the workers who attend the machinery, so please include them in your prayer. Obviously the enemy wants to “drown” out the message. So, please pray that the Lord would lift the veil from their eyes and bring them into relationship with Him! Continue to pray that the Lord would complete His work and bring healing to the San Quintin Valley. Next week begins an aggressive 6 week pursuit to come along side the local church for outreach. On July 18th many churches are meeting again at Los Olivos for another opportunity to unite the “Body,” for renewal and revival. Please pray for wisdom and discernment as each team contributes. But, primarily for the connection of each church as they all reach out for healing and a plan to move forward. No doubt it will get more difficult, but… 1 John 4:4 NIV 4 “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
