Overseas ministry is a calling. Traveling outside of Noth America, requires much fore-thought...we live in a North American Vacuum, and spreading the love of Jesus involves a lot of things. Developing countries deal with orphaned children through HIV & AIDS; not to mention genocide. So, please prayerfully consider these options.
OPTION 1: Uganda, East Africa

Like other outreaches into communities around the world, we want to give a "hand up" to families in need. Over the course of this outreach you will most likely build a hut for a woman who has been widowed by the HIV/AIDS virus. Without sufficient shelter, many of these women have been left without a home, job, or a way to provide for their family. The Ugandan people are resilient and phenomenal; often giving the little they have to bless us others. It will be our work to support the local church.
OPTION 2: Mountain Top Ministries
Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. 75 to 80% of the country’s population is severely malnourished and the other 20 to 25% are struggling to get by. The infant mortality rate is 40% before the age of five.
The earthquakes have made this even more difficult.
Fortunately, Mountain Top Ministries is doing everything in their power to decrease that number. By providing adequate infrastructure, through education and shelter they are changing one community at a time to make change. In the villages that they have made a presence, crime is minimal and many are educated to bring about a new generation that understands the way to change. It is here, in Haiti, that you will have the opportunity to love, embrace and offer a helping hand to many. Please consider this as you reach out to the widows & orphans!
OPTION 3: Thailand
Evangelism will be our focus in this Buddhist country. We will conduct sports camps for local children, aid in teaching English to college and university students, and participate in VBS programs. We will also visit various orphanages whose objective is to provide a caring environment for babies and children with HIV/AIDS. It is here, that these children are able to find love, appropriate health care, education, shelter, and hope.
Often we are the first to go into remote villages and distribute care bags to those who have never had anyone visit. Gifts, games, and songs about a savior God...bringing hope to communities hungry for a savior. With generations of abuse and turmoil, villiages - families can be brought back to wholeness if we work through the existing church.
